Snus users join the debate on flavor bans in e-cigarettes. One of Sweden's largest retailers of snus, Snusbolaget, is now calling on its customers to join vejpare in protesting the government's flavor ban.

Snusbolaget writes this in its magazine The snuff journal.
According to the snus company, Swedish snus users should also be on their guard when government wants to ban flavorings in e-cigarettes. According to the company, the issue of flavor bans will soon be relevant for all nicotine products. This could mean that in the future, flavoring in other risk-reduced nicotine products, such as snus and nicotine pouches, will be banned or restricted.
"Now all of us who use these products, and those of us who think politicians should drop the flavoring, must protest loudly. Before it's too late." writes The snuff journal.
Few smokers in Sweden
Sweden currently has over one million active snus users. At the same time, Swedish snus is, according to a number of international health scientists, tobacco and nicotine researchers, associated with Sweden's low smoking rate (6% in 2020). 20% of Swedish men use snus.
